🏍️ Last year, a few buddies and I took on Moab. It was an incredible trip, but I’m not going to pretend it was easy. There were some rough sections, some questionable decisions, and definitely a few moments when I wondered why this still sounded like fun. 😂 That’s part of why this quote resonates with me so much.
As we get older, it gets really easy to start creating reasons not to do things. Maybe I’m too old for this. Maybe I should take it easier. Maybe that trip sounds a little too difficult. Then you go anyway. And somewhere between the rocks, exhaustion, frustration, and laughs with your buddies, you realize you’re still capable of doing some pretty hard things. 💪
