Buyers weren’t shy to pursue their New Year’s resolution of homeownership. With showings and pending transactions picking up, listings are spending less time on the market. Shifting back to a more normal market, it’s no surprise inventory is tight right now. Sellers are preparing for the spring, which begins after Super Bowl Weekend. From 2013-2019, we’d see a 30-40% jump in showings after the big game (Megan Aller, First American Title). President’s Weekend may slow down the activity, but we’re anticipating a traditional Spring Frenzy to kick start within the next few weeks!  

So buyers, if you were burned out from last year’s market, we have about 2.5 times more inventory (DMAR Monthly Report). Let’s start your search now before the competition ramps up this spring.
